PassRun - Bread Baking Technician Exam ("the app") is a study app for the Korean Bread Baking Technician written exam. We value your privacy and comply with applicable laws including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act. This policy explains what the app collects and how it is used.
The app has no sign-up or login, and has no feature that asks for your name, email, phone number or any other personal information.
To improve question quality and operate the service, the app sends the following anonymous information to Google Firebase and PostHog. It contains nothing that identifies you personally.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Collected | A randomly generated anonymous identifier (not linked to any account or name) Per-question right/wrong aggregates (which questions are missed often) App usage events (screen usage, ad impressions/clicks) |
| Purpose | Question error/difficulty analysis, feature improvement, service statistics |
| Retention | Until the statistical purpose is fulfilled (kept in non-identifiable form) |
This anonymous collection is always on and the app has no switch to turn it off. Because only non-identifying information is collected, this notice takes the place of a separate consent step. If you want the collection stopped, contact us at the address below; study features remain fully available either way.
The app shows Google AdMob ads (banner — at the bottom of the result and statistics screens; interstitial — once, right before the result of a timed mock exam). No ads are shown while you are answering questions. Google may automatically collect and process the following to serve ads and prevent fraud:
The first time you open the app it asks once for ad personalisation consent. If you allow it, you see ads matched to your interests; if you decline, you see non-personalised ads. Every feature of the app remains available either way.
You can change this choice at any time in app Settings → Ads → Personalised ads.
You can limit personalized ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads / iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
| Processor | Delegated work |
|---|---|
| Google LLC (Firebase / Cloud Firestore) | Storage and management of anonymous usage/question statistics |
| Google LLC (AdMob) | In-app ad serving and performance measurement |
Part of the anonymous statistics in Section 2 is transferred abroad for product analytics. Nothing personally identifiable is included.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Recipient | PostHog, Inc. (privacy@posthog.com) |
| Country | United States (transferred over the network at time of use) |
| Transferred data | Anonymous identifier, app usage events (screen usage, study progress, ad impressions) |
| Method | Sent from the app over encrypted communication (HTTPS) |
| Purpose / retention | Service usage analytics / until the purpose is fulfilled |
This transfer takes place at all times and the app has no switch to stop it individually. To request that it stop, contact us at the address below; study features remain fully available either way.
The transfer constitutes processing delegation necessary to provide and improve the service. Under Article 28-8(1)3 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, it is carried out by disclosing the transferred items, country, timing, method, purpose and retention period in this policy — no separate consent is obtained for each transfer.
We do not sell or provide your personal information to third parties.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing at any time via the contact below. Locally stored study records can be deleted directly in the app settings.
The app can send a once-a-day study reminder. It is a local notification generated on your device, not a push message from a server. No device token, contact detail, or any other information is collected or transmitted for it.
The app is intended for national technical qualification study and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
Changes will be announced via app updates or this page.
