PassRun - Hairdresser (General) Exam ("the app") is a study app for the Korean Hairdresser (General) written exam. We value your privacy and comply with applicable laws including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act. This policy explains what the app collects and how it is used.
The app has no sign-up or login, and has no feature that asks for your name, email, phone number or any other personal information.
To improve question quality and operate the service, the app sends the following anonymous information to Google Firebase and PostHog. It contains nothing that identifies you personally.

This anonymous collection is always on and the app has no switch to turn it off. Because only non-identifying information is collected, this notice takes the place of a separate consent step. If you want the collection stopped, contact us at the address below; study features remain fully available either way.
The app shows a Google AdMob interstitial ad, displayed right after a quiz or mock exam is graded and before the result screen — never while you are answering questions. No other ad format (banner, rewarded, native, app open) is used. Google may automatically collect and process the following to serve ads and prevent fraud:
On iOS the app asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission on first launch. An explanatory dialog appears before the system prompt, and declining leaves every study feature fully available. If you decline, the IDFA is not accessed and you will only see ads unrelated to your interests.
The same explanatory dialog appears on Android; declining there stops the app from requesting personalised ads (Android has no system tracking prompt equivalent to iOS).
You can turn personalised ads off at any time in Settings → Ads → Personalised ads inside the app, and also limit them in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads / iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
Turning personalised ads off does not remove ads and places no limit on study features.
If you open the app in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a Google-certified User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form is shown before any ad is displayed. You choose there whether your data may be used for advertising, and that choice is applied to Google's ad requests.
You can reopen and change that choice at any time under Settings → Ads → Ad privacy options in the app (the entry appears only in the regions where the form applies).
Elsewhere the form is not shown, and only the notice described in section 3 appears.
The app can send a once-a-day study reminder. It is not a server push but a local notification that runs entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to the developer or any third party for it, and the record of "when you usually study" that decides the reminder time never leaves your device.
You can turn it off in Settings → Notifications → Daily study reminder, and it is never sent at all if you decline the notification permission.

Part of the anonymous statistics in Section 2 is transferred abroad for product analytics. Nothing personally identifiable is included.

This transfer takes place at all times and the app has no switch to stop it individually. To request that it stop, contact us at the address below; study features remain fully available either way.
The transfer constitutes processing delegation necessary to provide and improve the service. Under Article 28-8(1)3 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, it is carried out by disclosing the transferred items, country, timing, method, purpose and retention period in this policy — no separate consent is obtained for each transfer.
We do not sell or provide your personal information to third parties.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing at any time via the contact below. Locally stored study records can be deleted directly in the app settings.
The app is intended for national technical qualification study and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
